ABOUT ME

I work at a magazine. Every day I deal with fashion, beauty and other deep subjects. I love many things (reading, writing, music, morning time, good hair days, Craig Ferguson, every single episode of The Office, coffee, nice calendars with lots of space to write in, warmth, sincerity, honesty, nice legs and a good butt, freedom, running, hiking, swimming, straight teeth and pedicures) and hate a few (people who suck). One day, I hope to become … a lot more interesting.

I can be contacted at winnieywp@yahoo.com.

  3. Hey, I don’t always correct people’s grammar what! Well … not out loud anyways :-) I can’t help it. It’s a hideous habit!

  4. I was looking for exercising tips and what not and I ran into the pro ana and mia pages and then ran into yours I have to agree with you and it strange I never wanted to be skin and bones but I have to admit I love being thin and I’ve never weighted more than 125 pds but I have weighted under 100 pds not dieting or eating I went through I high depression with a break up and college and what not but it is strange that I agree with your post I am horrified at the photos they have and yet I am also a person under the influence I am always trying to make sure I stay lean and trim I’m 5’2” and weight 118 pounds and I wear a size 3 to 4 jean and I am like geeze I still want to be leaner or I could trim this up or my face can look a bit slimmer its funny, as women we are always under that influence of what we think is attractive and appealing.

    • Hi Raquel, thanks for dropping by :-) I know what you mean. We resent the pressure to look a certain way and yet, we work our asses off to conform to that ideal that we claim we don’t agree with. No matter what I say about women loving their ‘curves’ and the importance of self-acceptance and blah blah blah, I will say that between skinny and fat, for me, skinny is better.

you know what they say: nothing tastes as good as skinny feels. hahahaha!
